The use of industrial automation is crucial for various
production houses. The use of automation instruments using modern techniques
give rise to complex systems, which are used for wide industrial applications. PLCautomation panels are used for various automation tasks. It is the
cost-effective method and used for quality control.
PLC is an acronym for Programmable Logic Controller or
simply a Programmable Controller. It indicates a digital computer, which is
used for machinery control in production industries especially for light fixes
and other electromechanical processes. Different machines and factories use PLC panels for control purposes.
Though the system looks similar, PLCs are used for specific
purposes. The system is capable of handling numerous input and outputs,
industrial noise, different temperature limits and vibration effects. The
corresponding control programs are stored in a non-volatile memory or battery.
The machine works based on the real time system where the desired result
totally depends upon the input field. If the response time is long, it may lead
to undesirable results.
PLC Automation panels were developed as a substitute of the
relay logic scheme. At present, PLCs follows modern logics and programmed with
certain programming languages such as C and BASIC. To establish connection
between the PLC and the computer, different cables such as RS-232, RS-422 or
Ethernet is used.
PLCs are used for a variety of automation work. This system
of manufacturing is cheaper as compared to other means. Designs based on microcontroller
seem appropriate for better production with low cost; and help through testing
as well as a certification process. This process is also referred to as PLC Automation Panel Testing.
